The Female Voice of Iran
film
The Female Voice of Iran is a poignant documentary about female singers in Iran and their deepest desire: for their voices to be heard. Singers from all over the country are invited by the magical being Negar to come to a garden in the heart of Iran and raise their voices there. Two travellers help Negar to find the singers. It is an encounter with strong personalities and blazing voices.
The screening will be followed by a Q&A session with the makers of the documentary.
