MECHELEN
A metropolitan city in pocket size
Mechelen is located in the heart of Flanders. The historic art city, once the capital of the Burgundian Netherlands, contains between its narrow streets numerous heritage gems such as the Coral House and Hof van Busleyden. From all angles, the Sint-Rombouts tower proudly rises above the city. The favorable position of Mechelen - halfway between Brussels and Antwerp - explains the economic activity, which has again received a huge boost in recent years. Also culturally there is a lot going on, with a wide offer of professional performing arts organizations and musea such as Cultuurcentrum Mechelen, Kunstencentrum nona, De Maan and Kazerne Dossin, and of course Festival of Flanders Mechelen/Kempen.

Most locations are about a 15-minute walk from the train station Mechelen and Mechelen-Nekkerspoel. From these stations you can also reach the center with the center shuttle of De Lijn.
By car:
The car parks in the center of Mechelen are open 24/24. After 19:00 you pay a maximum of € 3 in the car parks of Indigo.
